I am so disgusted with the whole Rihanna situation. Every time I think of it I want to puke. Why, why, why does she want her pretty face smacked around? Obviously, she wants to get her ears beat in and stomped on. And all by a freaking teenage bitch of a boy. This is gonna sound harsh, but I think she deserves to get smacked on if she's stupid enough to not realize the horrible message she's sending to teen girls that it's ok to have an abusive boyfriend. Does she care or even realize what she is telling all of her young female fans... Am I an idiot to think she should have left him for the sheer sake of the message of saying "ITS NOT OK TO HAVE THIS DONE TO YOU"?? Am I the only one who finds her so self-absorbed?
She's beautiful and exotic and famous, and she wants to be punished for it perhaps.
What makes these certain women think that they are so lowly that they can't find anyone to treat them with respect and love? What makes a beautiful talented woman hate herself so much that she would CHOOSE repeatedly to get hurt in the worst way by the man who "loves" her??

I agree with you totally. It's disgusting - the whole situation. I think it just goes to show how screwed up thing thinking of a famous person can get - they lose sight of reality and think "oh well, I'm not really getting beat up, it's just something that happens when you're famous." Hopefully getting back together with her boyfriend wasn't some stupid publicity stunt - I "was" a huge fan of Rihanna's and now I can't stand to see her knowing that teens everywhere are now letting their boyfriend beat them up - 'cause it's "cool" now.
ReplyDeleteI agree too. And just because she is famous does not make her smart. AND she just turned 21, she has a lot of living and learning to do still. Hopefully as she grows up she will also smarten up. Good post!
